A brass/pink/black theme for the main bathroom, with a concrete sink and a freestanding bath.

Master bedroom

En suite bathroom

A small shower room adjoining the second bedroom.

Shop front

Second bedroom

The garage was converted into a second bedroom with en suite bathroom and shower.

Second bedroom

Garden

Went for stone tiles but remember you may need have to treat/seal them before they are laid.

Garden

Hallway

The main hallway is 1.5m wide, but given the height of the ceiling any less would have felt unbalanced.

Handles

A choice of handles for the kitchen units.

Open-plan lounge/kitchen

In the original design the lounge and kitchen were separate rooms but we opened it up to create one double-aspect space.

Lighting

Plumen Wilbur bulbs used throughout. Fixtures from Edwards and Hope (Brighton).

Master bedroom

Original sash windows which had been boarded up for decades.

Original tiled flooring

The tiles from the original entrance were preserved as a feature in the second hallway.

Utility room

Options were a little limited with this room. It was originally part of an original extension with a low flat roof, consequently the ceiling height after putting down the floor and insulation is only 2100mm.

Wardrobe

Fitted wardrobe in the master bedroom, built by Marcello Mirto.
